erase factory-default

This command erases all data from NVS and all data from flash excluding the following:

■ The current release file and its /flash/.release file

■ The backup release file and /flash/.backup file

■ v1 license files /flash/.configs/.swfeature.lic

■ v2 license files /flash/.configs/.sw_v2.lic

The device is then rebooted and returns the switch to its factory default condition. The

switch can then bu used for automatic node recovery.

Syntax erase factory-default

Mode

Global Configuration.

Usage This command is an alias to the atmf cleanup command on page 174.

Example To erase data, use the command:

erase factory-default

This command will erase all NVS, all flash contents except

for the boot release, and any license files, and then

reboot the switch. Continue? (y/n):y
